What is the "32k" On-Air Stream?
This is the low quality (32 kbps) Jazz24 stream. It is used by listeners using a dial-up connection or using mobile devices. When you first choose this stream, you may need to download Microsoft Silverlight.
What is the ITUNES/MP3 On-Air Stream (iTunes logo button)?
This stream is for iTunes and similar players. To use in iTunes, copy this link, http://sc1.abacast.com:8236/listen.pls, and in iTunes go to "Advanced > Open Stream..." and copy in the URL.
What is the Real Player Stream (Real Networks logo button)?
This stream is for use with customers who prefer using Real Player instead of the above options. To use, simply click on the "Real" icon and the stream will begin. For those listeners who do not have the Real Player, a free download is available here.

Microsoft Silverlight is a powerful development platform for creating engaging, interactive user experiences for Web, desktop, and mobile applications when online or offline. KPLU uses it to provide a simple multi-platform stream player, since Silverlight can be run on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux, using Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. What was the Abacast Plug-In?
The Abacast Plug-In was previously required to stream our 64 kbps. It is no longer used nor supported and we recommend that you simply uninstall the application if you previously installed it.
How do I stream KPLU on an Internet Radio Device?
To stream on an Internet Radio Device, such as Logitech's Squeezebox, you can trying entering in either our ASX (WMA) stream URL or PLS (MP3) stream URL. Depending on the device, it may accept both streams or just one of them. We recommend using our ASX stream if possible, as it uses a 64 kbps stream. The stream URLs are:
