I'm originally from Spain but I moved to Cork, Ireland 3 years ago, as I've been playing uilleann pipes (traditional Irish bagpipes) for about 9 years.
I've been playing traditional Irish music in local pub and venues, and coincidentally shortly after I moved here I discovered Jazz 24. I haven't stopped listening since. This year I started to experiment with watercolor painting, and for one of my pictures I thought of painting a night city scene with a jazz club on it.
I came up with the idea of painting my own interpretation of what Jazz 24 would look like if it would be an actual jazz club: a vibrant and lively place, but also a warm and friendly corner for jazz lovers to enjoy the best jazz while the rest of the world sleeps. In my painting, the jazz club is located on the number 24 of the street, hence my personal and humble tribute to Jazz 24.
