Hispanic Heritage Month: Muevelo performs a hot Musical Celebration at The New Orleans Jazz Museum

Lead singer Margie Perez

The New Orleans Jazz Museum presents the Hispanic Heritage Month Musical Celebration: which began on September 16 through October 14, fans of Latin grooves had the chance to enjoy weekly live performances as they honor Hispanic Heritage Month. Here’s band Muevelo with a scintillating live show.

Muevelo is a hot Salsa band specializing in Cuban music in the style of Celia Cruz and beyond. What started as a tribute to Celia Cruz has now become New Orleans’ newest Latin music sensation, Muevelo! That means “Move It” in Spanish, and that’s just what you’ll be doing with your feet, your hips and all the rest! Lead singer Margie Perez and Saxophonist Brent Rose have put together a talented ensemble that takes you on a musical journey to Cuba that will not let you leave the dance floor. They have played the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, French Quarter Fest, Top Taco, Bayou Boogaloo, Congo Square Rhythms Fest, and are so happy to be returning to their Monthly Residency “La Noche Caliente” every 4th Saturday at Three Keys in Ace Hotel.
