Serving up 15 blistering tracks that reek of funk, on Ghost-Notes new album Mustard & Onions you’ll hear a few nods to funk legends like James Brown, Herbie Hancock, and Prince.

Latest releases from Percussion duo, and two of the top Vibraphone and Sax players.

Behn Gillece, Stick Together

True to the album's title, Vibraphonist Behn Gillece rounds up his Posi-Tone label-mates for his latest release. Showing off what happens when collaboration and synergy collide, Stick Togetheris Behn’s 7th album for Posi-Tone Label, featuring some of his favorite musicians, Art Hirrahara (Piano), Boriz Kozlov (Bassist), and Rudy Royston (Drums). The project features original compositions from Behn, and performed by the quartet as they breeze through 11 straight-ahead jazz tunes.

Kamasi Washington, Fearless Movement

Kamasi Washington is known in many music circles, and his albums always reflect the diversity of genres he can perform in. Using music as a way of connecting rather than making the latest hit song, Kamasi’s latest album is a return to his “journey” of connecting. While past albums like The Epic have been praised for maintaining the sound of jazz while also moving the genre forward, Fearless Movement leans heavily into more ambient-sonic grooves, featuring collaborations with Andre 3000, Thundercat, and George Clinton. Each song is given more than enough space for Kamasi and others to show off their chops.

Ghost-Note, Mustard & Onions

Known as Ghost-Note, former Snarky Puppy Percussion duo Robert Sput Searight (Drums) and Nate Werth (Percussion) take funk to the max on their new album Mustard & Onions. Serving up 15 blistering tracks that reek of funk, you’ll hear a few nods to funk legends like James Brown, Herbie Hancock, and Prince.
