Sun Ra's music sounds like it was intercepted from another world.

Remembering the great Sun Ra, born May 22, 1914.

Remembering Le Sony'r Ra AKA, Sun Ra, born May 22, 1914. Known for his eclectic garb, music and philosophies, Ra’s outlet was through “The Arkestra”, an ever-changing ensemble that included many band members and names. Ra’s influence remains today as the Arkestra remains active, currently led by Saxophonist Marshall Allen.
